My future job.

When I think about my future job I always imagine something that really resonates with me, something that I truly find interesting and that makes me happy in the long run. Since I'm majoring in biochemistry, I picture myself working in a laboratory doing research. I'm very interested in working in diseases and clinical trials, which means that I'm going to work mostly indoors. I really hope that I can apply to many different laboratories around the world so that I can travel a lot and live in many different countries, if that doesn't happen I'm going to save a lot of money so that I can travel and see the world, that's one of my dreams too. From what I know, the salary for a biochemist is not really big and it depends on what kind of job you're doing, biochemists can do a lot of things, but I truly hope that I can work in a country that really gives money to their scientists because here in Chile that simply does not happen. I'm still in second year of biochemistry so I'm not sure what I want to specify in, I know that I would like to work in a hospital or a laboratory but I'm open to see the many different branches that one can focus on, so for the moment I only know that I'm majoring in biochemistry.
